What is the problem? All too often, people use the web to leave intimate or discourteous information that should remain non public.

What explanation does the article put forward ? Both material and human factors can explain why that can be a problem. Indeed, technological advances let employers have easily access to your details. On the other hand, people are not always aware of the effects of their writing on the web, or worse, they stupidly think they will never be answerable for irreverent content.  

As a consequence, more and more potential managers, considering such irresponsible attitude, refuse to deal with unprofessional people, creating for them a risk of exclusion from the job market.

To sum up, this article lay the stress on dramatic issues due to inappropriate online contents on the web. Employers/Employees relationships can be very tense on that matter, especially when one's (future) job is at stake. Fortunately, some new promising technologies give everybody the weapons to better protect their privacy online.
